I sit infront of my laptop facing the playground which is now being showered heavily by bullets of water. I love the smell of rain. I love rain itself- you would appreciate it too if you have been living in a desert with rain only blessing your life once a year.
The slides are collecting water. It is raining more heavily. There are countless puddles formed now, beneath the swings, beside the seesaw, drowning the grass...
The thunder is really loud. For some reason it brings me to Physics chapter about speed. The five-second rule of thumb. If you hear thunder 5 seconds after seeing the lighting, it means that it is only a mile away.
I am worried. The Cover Girl Night next week apparently clashes with my exams. Wednesday, Maths exam. Thursday, CoverGirl Night. Friday, English exam. How will i be able to commute from Cyberjaya to KL almost everyday? and late in the evening even...
There is a lady now walking with an umbrella, hugging close to her belongings.
I am thinking of finding a replacement for my role as the main lead for my play. But it's not fair because it is only a few days away. Iman says I cannot pull it off. Yasmin says I am irreplacable because she cannot imagine anyone else who can express the words with as much conviction and belief (thank you, my dear); and as sweet as that sounds, it worries me even more. The only time I can practice with them is on Wednesday. And then comes the Grand Finale.
T. Aizan says it is doable because she knows my girls are talented. I have no grouses against that; it's just that I need to practice together with them. I hate letting people down. I hate not being able to give full commitments when it is my responsibility. I know I can pull it off, but it's not the same if you can't be there...
It is getting darker outside. The rain is slowing down to a drizzle... And here I take my leave.

syg,
this is the one time iman hopes she is wrong.
What exactly is the relevance of the last proverb? strange, seems out of context completely...oh, only if, well, you know...
And by the bye, I may not even be an option, but hope is all I can entertain, and from that spring, I shall forever draw...
lol. i think sometimes we shouldn't go so far as to assume who the quote is directed towards;)
Man is a beast of assumption, and a creature of deduction!
