and a glorious morning at MIM toastmasters:)

Gave my fourth speech - entitled Your Next Destination. And Alhamdulillah won (or rather was voted) Best Prepared Speech Speaker. Richard Hoy, my evaluator, was being too kind on evaluating my speech. Because apparently, Ahmad brutally criticized my speech in the car saying I didn't stretch my words and I was speaking too fast on places I should be slowing down and my conclusion was a bit too wordy and my legs were dangling sometimes (DANGLING!!?!?!). But yes, all were done unconsciously. Especially the limb-in-mid-air stance because apparently i unawarely did it so as to face the other side of the audience and shift my weight onto only one foot; or so Ahmad says.

There was a table topic speech I especially liked because of the content. Dr Alvin was given the topic "Knowledge and Wisdom" whereby he differentiated the meaning of knowledge and wisdom. Knowledge being what we have and wisdom being how we implement the knowledge.. or something to that effect. And there are 6 ways of which you can implement or so.

First through your feet by showing that you want to leave.

Second by your gonad if it is through lust.

Third by your stomach if you want to do it to live.

Fourth by your heart if you do it out of love.

Fifth through your mind if you do it to learn.

And sixth through... somewhere higher than your head *Can't remember now* if you do it so as to light the way for people.

maybe the xenagogue can help me here if he remembered on what happened:P
