Driving Amali!

I had my Practical Driving thing two days ago (I have to seriously update on time). Initially, I opted for 6 hours straight, as in 3 hours theory + 3 hours practical. However it seemed that on that day, the lady told me that I couldn't and can only do the 3 hour theory that day. So I was like... Okay, fine then. Sat for the theory but then didn't focus at all. The guy was mumbling away in BM and making jokes and everyone was laughing; but it was all in BM:P It's my weakness and it's actually wrong of me to make such an excuse but really, my mind just cannot seem to grasp on BM words. Ahaha.

Oh well, while we were waiting to start the theory, actually I had this really nice artline pen I borrowed from the lady. So i started drawing chibis on this really inviting clean white paper (it's absolutely irresistible when I have such a combination!>_<). There were some girls sitting next to me and they were giggling and looking at my drawing. In the end, the girl next to me asked to look at my drawing. Lol. I couldn't help laughing inside. Then there was this girl infront of me, she glanced at my drawing and said, "Awak pandai lukis eh?". I corrected her and said, "Saya suke lukis." Lol. And she took out her phone and took pictures of it which was so embarassing>_< So I just told her that if she wanted it, I'd gladly give it to her. Lol.

After the 3 hour theory talk, I thought I'd be heading back home. But suddenly there was this guy who was ill so the lady asked me if I wanted to take the practical right there and then. WhoOoo! I finally can get behind the wheels. The dude left me to read this manual and checklist to passthe exam for later on. Since it was around Zuhr already, he wanted to go to the surau to pray. He parked the car at the carpark (duh~) and for some reason, right infront of a tree because there was no other space. The guy told me to just play around with the gear (he pronounced it as giyar) and clutch. I can drive a car actually, though an auto one. So my only focus was on the clutch and gear. When he went off, I was playing around with it and I distinctively remember he advised that if you're not stepping on the clutch, it can only be when it's on free gear. It is absolutely tiring stepping on the clutch so once, I accidentally didn't put my foot on the clutch and the car JUMPED forward. It was really so freaky like I was about to crash into the tree infront. Lol. Really, it is absolutely horrifyingly terrifying!>_<

Apart from that, it was quite okay on the course. Just going round and round. The engine died a couple of times when I didn't step on the clutch at the right time. It didn't TOTALLY switch off. The aircond was still on so sometimes I don't notice it until the guy says, "On the engine." Most of the time I just laugh and he says, "Gelak bnyk budak ni." or something like that. Lol. Though when I parked, the car was senget and the instructor (who was really2 tired) said, "Just leave it." Ahaha.

Yay for auto cars since they don't require clutches!

Haha, that's the thing about drawing in public -- it draws (pun intended ;P ) attention. -__- Hehe, you seem fine with it though, but can't believe she took photos and all. ^^;

LOL, I think in BM it is gi-yar, kan? XD English je gee-er. The clutch was completely my enemy, oh and the bukit. (Somehow my feet couldn't stay still.) It was bad enough that I had this super-strict-bad-mood-big-guy as my instructor (when I do the sheepish "oh, sorry" thing, he'd be extra mad and start lecturing)... so I asked for another instructor after that. :|

Auto cars rule!

Aki, that only happened ONCE. With the traces and everything because the drawing was just sooo distorted. Lol. Besides, I've drawn so many for u:P Most of them for u. So what do u have to complain?:P

ahahah. Is it really GIYAR??? Fine.. But then in Malay, is clutch really clutch? Because then Clutch fits with Gear. Oh well, what does it matter?

OOowh now i just realize that for the bukit, you have to change gears right? Because going uphill and downhill... Is it? Oh well. my instructor didn't even say anything eventhough I used first gear throughout. Lol. And like, everyone seemed to stop at the top but then I never did and he never said anything so... Lol.

Kudos to inventors of auto carsXD

Hmm, I think there's probably another ridiculously-spelled BM word for clutch (like ... klac? =S ), uh-huh.

Oh, I think you haven't reached the bukit lesson yet lah. Nanti you'll learn how to stop at the top. :) Kena free gear then masuk gear balik, 'tis pretty annoying and lotsa work. All the while I found myself thinking "if only this was an auto car... all I'd have to do is hit the brake!". >_> Oh well. Rules are rules.
