I've been waiting for the day that I would get my results for IGCSE. It is an absolutely common and normal question for people to ask a 'graduate': "So what are you doing now?"
To which I would have to reply: I'm waiting for my results.
Aren't we all? Ahahaha.
So we were all expecting the results to be out on MONDAY and I slept at around 3am being so anxious and nervous for my results and the next day, Ustaz said: THURSDAY!!!
On Wednesday, I slept at 2am. When I awoke, I couldn't fall back asleep. Watched Korean Drama until 3pm, trying to distract my mind, but to no avail. Everyone was practically calling me asking if I've picked up my results or not. After every phone call, I'd scream with anticipation... BUT, I had to remain patient and *breathe in and out* til my dad was over with his work so that we could pick up the results together. Finally, at 3:30pm, I was in the car, on the way. To pick up my results. I was so tense and anxious and.... excited i guess... Lol.
When we reached school, my dad took the result slip and we went into the cafe and when my dad revealed it, I couldn't stop smiling and starting crying. My parents were all grinning and my mom was like, "I KNEW you could do it!"
There was this one dude who came in and gave this quizzical look and my dad was like, "dapat result." Ahahaha. The guy grinned and said, "Must be tears of happiness." I was half laughing and crying and...called up Aki. Ahahaha. Oh well.
Alhamdulillah:)

Alhamdulillah indeed. :) (Although I'm not sure what exactly your results are. :P ) I do know it's excellent though, so congratulations!
I was crazily calm on my SPM result day years ago, for God-knows-what reason. =S I was much more nervous waiting for my scholarship results (at midnight, in front of the computer screen ^^) and semester results in college here. (They used to post them during the holidays. Enough said. =| )
So what are you gonna do NOW? ;P
yours are almost as funny as mine. notice that i said the words 'almost' i could not sit still the whole week in class, i would fidget and tremble just thinking about the results. and then on that thursday, i kept on going out of my english class every three minutes to pee (eng is from 10 till 1130) and then when break came, i went down the cafeteria, and sat with my classmates, and then nunu called. and then i called sharaf to go and get my results for me, and then when he told me, every time he said 'a' i would jump in my seat (sub consciously of course, because i never jump consciously) and make like a little squeal. and then when he said 'c', i laughed out so loud; i squirted my drink. it didnt help that the whole cafeteria was looking at me, because evidently my squeals were really loud. sigh, i wish you there.
