final week

Finally, I have completed my Foundation in Science course at CUCMS. During the final week, we had our exams- two papers: Professional Communication and Presentation as well as Calculus paper.

Meet Wammey. He stayed through the night with me and Alina, accompanying us in the sweltering heat while we slaved over calculus questions. He is -in real fact- a miniature electronic battery-operated fan; thus the night-long company. Tres adorable with the little watermelon on his tummy; I kept getting distracted from my exercises (which is underneath his lil tiny feet).

After our PCP Paper, I finally got Alina to agree to go roller blading. Initially, it was her who was so bent on going roller blading but the upcoming exams put a halt to our plans. In the end, there was no other time and since this was the final week we'll be staying in CJ, I thought, "why not?" and 'influenced' her through her usual advice of "I/You/We need the walk."

So the stunt driver drove all the way to the big cyberpark (which is not that big- but bigger than the small cyberpark). And we began our roller blading adventure circling the park. Well, we were supposed to circle the park but we had to stop halfway because Alina didn't want to get too close to the lake in case she trips and falls in. And there was a wooden bridge over the lake- which may have been quite a feat to roller blade in.

While Alina was driving to Cyberpark, I thought aloud, "So what do I do if you fall and break your arm or something?" Alina: "Do you WANT me to fall and break my arm?" Alia: "No, just thinking of precautionary steps. Maybe I'll call the ambulance. or maybe I'll call someone closeby first" Alina: "Yeah........"

Before we went back, we stopped at the ginormous playground. Of course we can't play inside the slides and stuff- alina says we're too big:( ... But we got to play on the swings instead. Which after a while induces that peaceful feeling and childlike emotions and you feel like there's nothing better than swinging up and down with a friend by your side.

When Calculus exams were over, there was like this huge invisible feeling which had been weighing us down lifted and of course we can't believe that "It's finally over". But Foundation in Science did not officially end there because we had to clear out of our apartment and hand over the keys- the final and official "passing-of-the-baton" to mark the end of our long race.

E70B- my housemates. my friends. my team. awesome.

Once we finished cleaning up, the house was sparkling. Apparently everyone was in a super cleaning mode/mood up to the fact I think the living room was swept twice, mopped up and dried (japanese style; cloth in your hands and you on your knees).

While waiting for the inspectors to come and well, inspect our house, I found myself in Alina's room (the downstairs bedroom) and sitting on the bed, staring into space. Her room because it is the coolest (in terms of temperature). And I noticed these rays of sunshine pouring into the room through her window and I thought- what an amazing view. Thus, the picture:

While we were having the inspection- the two inspectors were in the kitchen- we were all standing in the living room watching from afar. And it so happened that everyone was standing in a line. Of course, E70B is not E70B without its picture-taking moments. We take pictures all the time.

Yes, E70B; what more can i say? We're awesome.
