I am loved:)

It may sound conceited to say that as a title but after completing two scrapbooks of memories, it's how I feel. I am so happy because up to date, I've been able to finish these two books and there are still other materials which I need ANOTHER folder to fill up with:) It's absolutely heart warming to look through them all. Sometimes it's difficult to paste them all in, having to glue or cellotape them or cut them to size. but it's really worth it once i've filled everything up. Sometimes I feel like it's such a task and "when will i ever finish this?" when i first started. But i didn't have to worry at all because it really filled up fast!

I keep tidbits, even chocolate wrappers when I get them under such a special occasion. I treasure small scribbled notes of "thanks" or "sorry". I paste in receipts of memorable moments, usually when it's with someone. I stick in cards i got for raya, for my birthday...

Most of them are paper material. I dont usually stick in photos because they are such a hassle to print out and cost much.

There are letters from my mom because she writes occasionally (she is my first penpal anyways). There's a letter from my dad which i've been nagging him to write and which he finally gave me after i persisted that I really want one for my graduation. There's abundant of letters from the elf. I think i've said this before but it's still so funny when I think about it. There were so many even though we sat next to each other in class for the few months she stayed in Msia; and she still posts letters even after she went abroad. There are also uncountable letters from Aki. with the korean writings and all the merepek kerepeks she writes; which i love:)

Nunu's poems are in there too; even the ones she wrote on exercise book paper, and lyrics she penned down on a ripped paper.. There are chitchats with iman, the one we used to write when we were in lower secondary; lots of them starting with "are u mad at me, iman?". hihi.

There are many drawings from Kausar, all of them beautifully drawn and meticulously made. Owh, also many drawings from Siraj and origamis he made. There are small notes from Fuddy with the "caaliya is so busuk" and from yaya. There's my driving license mark - showing that i passed.. Wishes for my exams and my future undertakings... My first ever official paycheck in black and white... There's that section where there are letter saying happy birthday because that year I requested for a letter for my birthday:P

There are a few printed emails; among them from my primary school principal. Hellos from Nina, all the way from Germany. There are Nurun's letters from Brunei. Eventhough i get them very rarely, the envelope comes in a bundle because when she writes, there are at least 4 pages in there. There are a few letters though which are heartbreaking. Some saying that i've changed, some which made me cry so much when i read them. But it still makes me smile now:)
I know emails are much faster and many can be sent at a time. But snail mail and handwritten notes/letters/scribbles (as i've mentioned before in a previous post) are always the best.

Make me happy. Write me a letter. Or scribble a small note. Even better, buy me a chocolate. Anything:) and it'll be pasted in my special super awesome scrapbook.

Wednesday: chemistry lab experiment; obtaining empirical formula of magnesium oxide. It was supposed to be a simple experiment but I think this was the craziest lab experiment so far. We had to repeat it 4 times because each time, there seemed to be something that we missed out. It's either that we didn't cover it instantly, or we didn't burn the WHOLE metal strip or we didn't follow the procedures accurately. But this was because there were confusions and our lab instructor said that we have to burn it first because if not, the experiment would take too long so we skipped a few instructions and well, see how well that turned out...

Someone once told me that doctors have no life. Like once they decide to forever be indebted to this profession, they literally marry their job. Sometimes I wonder; is this really the life that I want? Going through what I'm going now where things may get 100% more challenging and doing it for the rest of my life?

I'll post more later. Quite tired now. It's been a tough week... Thanks u guys for calming me down when I panicked.

imns open house

To quote from Iman, i am "not one of those chicks who post pictures on their blogs just to promote their new cheekbones. nyaha."

Okay2, I shall start with Iman's open house since we fought that day on if any of us actually read each others' blogs. Keep your hair on, Iman. Here goes the ultimate blog of a lifetime about your ultimately awesome open house which was inspired by (technically ME:P) our idea for a Raya Reunion for our batch and actually a get-together before saddiq flies off.

As (almost) always, I am the first guest. But of course, I am never a guest, I'm dubbed the 'regular' over there at iman's house. Yes, Iman's house is my third home (first my real home and second cyberjaya). I'm such a regular there that I have to do the dishes as well since I'm like a stepchild there. I know where they put the salt, the cocoa, the butter, the laddles and forks and spoons in her huge spotless kitchen. I know that you shouldn't touch the kuih table at the living room because Auntie Ilaine can so spot the fingerprints and both she and iman are so kiasu. I know so much, Iman knighted me as the second hostess:P

That was because Iman's chinx and sunway people came over. So she had to run here and there and attend to everyone else. One funny thing i realized during raya is that when people come, they wanna see the host. But the host is too busy making the guests comfortable (by getting drinks and filling up the empty kuih containters) and well... its a funny scene:P

Anyway, Fuddy came over early too! So we played taboo for a while. Auntie Ilaine too joined in and so did everyone else, until the first guests came over (which was Fattah and Musa). So after that, everyone came and the guests flooded in. The reunion was meant to be at 2pm but they came late and it was til 4pm til everyone (who was supposed to attend) came. Iman so 'didn't wanna talk to anyone' who was coming late or who didn't come. I do/did not wanna be one of them. Owh, Nurul called all the way from singapore:) It was really so sweet of her and my phone got passed around to everyone. THank you nunu:)

By 4pm, i was already so restless and eyeing the cake nonstop. We finally got to cut the super yummy moist cake:) Ate smore and took pictures (go to www.adnigeneration05.blogspot.com for more:)).

Later on we played some taboo with iman's sunway friends downstairs. (Iman why do we have to call it chinx against malays??? u said it yourself that racial issues should not even exist:P) Oh well, we had lotsa fun with them. Yeah, jowee is cool:) It's nice meeting u guys.

So yeah, all you people who didn't come. I really wish you did. Because it's meant to be a reunion for all of you. For all of us. Because we hardly meet and I really miss you people soo much!>_< You guys missed out on a lot. Please come next year!:)

If there will be anymore:P
