I squealed in delight when tariq told laila: "That I only have eyes for you."
I held my breath when abdul sharif bore the bad news; that tariq died.
I screamed in disgust when Rasheed said he wanted to marry Laila and his courtshipping.
I felt so mad when that officer stopped laila and mariam from going and he returned them to rasheed.
I was scared out of my wits whenever rasheed was in the picture.
I felt tears every time laila remembers her memories with tariq.
I cried when tariq came back and cried when mariam was sentenced to death
I cried again when laila read jalil's letter.
Aaah tariq... what is a book without the hero, the saviour, the protagonist?
To those who have been weirded out by my unpredictable random outbursts, i do apologize. thank u for bearing with me. Specially to aki who didn't understand head or tail what was going on but still 'reassured' me when tariq died and 'yay-ed' with me when he came back! Even my brothers stare at me and say I am weird. I cannot help it. The story is THAT gripping. I haven't read such a good book in a long time and it really kept me enchanted until the last word.

free
This morning went to Adni's Merdeka celebration together with syarif and ahmad, more so because safi and siraj were performing. If I didn't go out, I'd still be in bed til God knows when... It was really wonderful to see the teachers again and the other students. I sound like I've not seen them for so long... In reality, i go there more often than all my batch put together:P (i think that's true..)
Absorbed: Syarif with his ever-"obliviousness" when it comes to reading books. Yes, he's reading.
I've been so addicted to The Kite Runner, I couldn't help but look for Khaled Houssein's second book. So I asked ahmad 'Let's go to Kino!:D" and after much coaxing and pleading and persuading, he finally gave in. I've not been to a bookstore for sooo long, I felt breathless and so bedazzled in Kino. The idea was to get the book and go. But there were so many books... so many genres... so many choices... so many smooth covered inviting books... and I had to keep telling myself... "Must... not... give ... in". Finally found the book. If not for Ahmad wanting to go back and Syarif being hungry, I would have stayed in there til forever. Lol.. Finally I got the second book; A Thousand Splendid Suns. Which I am still holding myself back because I want to read it for when I go back to JOhor:D

eating.
My housemates seem to wonder how I seem to eat so fast. I really don't know either but when they ask aloud, I'd just answer I don't know or that it's not that I eat fast; people just eat slow. Lol. But during lunch the other day, I was eating with Azra and Kaktqa and after lunch, she said; Alia, I noticed the way you eat.
Me: Okaaaaay.... -_-"
Azrae: It's not that you eat fast. But rather the technique you eat.
Me: (thinking) technique??? I have a technique???
Azrae: Well, ysee, it's just that you chew and then you swallow and straight away have another spoonful. THat way, it's more efficient because other people don't really do that.
Me: O_o you observed the way i eat??
Azrae: I like to observe peope. (smiles)
So there you go, people (like Iman). Who says I eat fast and like such a swallower. I have eating technique!:D
Merepek-ers: Alia and Azrae sp. during Tasputra Perkim event
Me: Okaaaaay.... -_-"

How more chinesey-er can I get? I was making faces like I always do while someone is readying to take a picture, especially if it's Aki (which in this case was).
goodbye bio! for now:P
Again, writing this post because aki says my blog is so boring coz I never update it.
Exam is finished and done with!:) Almost. Technically speaking, those from July intake (including me) finish their exam yesterday. Bio theory and lab. We've been cramming and studying and suddenly right after the exam, I felt kinda .. blank. It's like everyday there's always something to do. Like have assignments, lab reports, revision... And suddenly BAM! You just can't think of anything and right after the exam pun I'm not even sure where to walk to... I had to ask my housemates where they're going and even after some time pun I couldn't decide where to go. Lol. Such slow uptake, no?
I felt it's so unfair everyone can go back right after exams but I have to stay til thursday because I have bahasa kebangsaan class. So I went to the library and got myself addicted to "The Kite Runner" by Khaled Houssein. That night, Kaktqa ajak kluar and eat dinner:) before she...left. Lol. went over to Aki's and disturbed her eventhough she had exam the next day! Haha. Owh well. I had aki call me and talk to me all the way til I reached back to my place coz there were really a lot of people walking around.. like groups of men.. Scary...-_-"
This morning went to college in hopes of finishing off my BM folio but alas, Khaled Housseini has gotten me entranced by his enchanting novel. I really wanted to... but I read it nonstop til i finished it. By the time I reached the last page, Aki was oredi tired and we went back home lalala. And after that I watched House MD marathon of season4 while aki 'studied' for her phys exam tomoro. Lol. Yes, I know I shall suffer like her next sem.
Tata for now:)

Oman:)
This morning I followed my parents to send off an Omani family friend who came to Malaysia for a visit. The last time I met them was around 5 years ago... Of course the initial feeling was that I was really happy to see them! Though after a while, I felt a little awkward. Maybe because I'm not much of a talker... Anyways, their only daughter; fatimah is around my age; about one year older though. I remember they had a HUGE house and I really liked her room because it was really girl-ish. Lol.
Anyways, their family is pretty close to ours because we met them relatively often and also because fatimah's grandmother looked after my mom after she gave birth to siraj since we were in Oman that time:) Plus once, when we went for Umrah, both our families DROVE to mecca all the way from Oman. I remember it being like a just another long travel... It took a few days and I think it came out in a newspaper or something... Lol.
The night before, they came over for dinner and my dad took some albums out. There's about 8 or 9 huge albums of our photos in Oman. Eventhough it was them who was supposed to look through it, I was just as mesmerized and smiled to myself as I recalled my huge chunk of a childhood in Oman. It would not be enough to write an entry about my 4 years in Oman because there are just SO many experiences and things to talk about. I hope I'll be able to go to Oman again one day...

Salam everyone:)
Sorry for the weekly updates. I mean, at least its better than nothing:P I'll avoid writing in such weird tones like my previous post introduction because once, Azra opened up my blog and she read it soo undescribably weird and everything. So Azra, please don't read my blog aloud again.
Had BBQ charity program for tastputra this morning. Lots of fun, games, walking and cleaning. Lol. It was quite hot but overall exciting and rewarding:)
I will do iman's tagging thing once i go back home again. This weekend i'm not going back because of the charity event.
Finals in 2 weeks.

my blog
Yknow its kinda an honour and an embarassment at the same time to find out that a number of people DO read your blog. I mean, I always make this naive assumption that people who comment are the ones who read my blog... So I didn't really mind writing whatever stuffs down... Come to think of it, I hardly ever comment on other people's blogs as well eventhough I often read them... Hmmm...
Anyways, Wednesday was Dhurgaa's birthday. It was really funny the way we had to come up with the idea on what to do and how to celebrate it. We had to talk in whispers and in the corner in fear of her hearing our super secret plans. Lol. Our initial plan was to get her a cake or something and shout happy birthday at midnight:D But we all knew that she'd be sleeping at that time (unlike some of us:P) so we thought let's take her out at night and celebrate it at Alamanda but then when we just casually invited her out, she said that she's not comfortable in going out late at night and so our 2nd plan was crushed. On wednesday morning itself, we had to come up with an impromptu plan and somehow it worked:)
So that wednesday morning (alhamdulillah for no morning classes), all 7 of us (not including Azra because she had an event to attend) were packed like sardines in Aqilah's Proton Saga on the way to... Mini Cyberpark:) Me Kaktqa Dhurgaa and Alina went to find a place to study there while Aqilah Najah and Sharon went off 'somewhere'. About half an hour later, they (aqilah Najah and Sharon) came back with cake, ice cream and snacks!:D So we all sang happy birthday for Dhurgaa and had a small yet memorable mini birthday party^^
We had a trip to Putrajaya's Wetland on Friday. A lot of walking and quite tiring but nevertheless very informative:) I think it's the first time I fully focused and got many facts during a trip. This is because we had to write a lab report on it... Which is a good thing in many ways:P MashaAllah, there are actually so many creations of Allah which contribute to the wellbeing of this world. Like this kind of plant (im not sure what it's called in English because the tour guide gave the plant names in Malay) which is grown in the water absorbs the toxic in its body to have the water clean... something like that:P
I just realized I have a presentation to finish off for tomorrow. Lol.
For those who read my blog, please comment or something so i know who's reading. Just to know:) arigatou.
